Hong Kong (September 15, 2008) – The security industry market has a new face in fiber companies as OT Systems launches into the U.S. market to offer end-users more and better for less.
OT Systems, based in Hong Kong, is already recognized globally for offering digital fiber transmission products with better quality, reliability and transmission speeds than currently available products at prices competitive with older technologies.
The company opened its doors in 2000, teaming new technologies with an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facility and engineers eager to apply digital components to fiber transmission. This combination resulted in transmission quality that far exceeded the industry standard. The company employs nearly 100 associates in Hong Kong and the U.S. and a high percentage of those employees are engineers.

“Our engineers created products that easily win in side-by-side comparisons with so-called industry leaders,” said Frank. “We took our product to the global market first and found overwhelming acceptance. Systems integrators are learning about OT Systems oversees and wanting to spec it in the U.S. After a few of these calls we decided the product was ready for the U.S. market.”
Sensing the time was right to expand; OT Systems’ recently hired Frank to grow brand recognition and sales throughout North and South America. The company plans to hire manufacturers’ representatives as its primary sales channel.

OT Systems’ products currently provide fiber transmission for large and visible projects world wide including the Taipei Arena in Taipei, Taiwan; the Tornino-Savona A6 Motorway in Italy; the Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Complex in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia; and the Samsung Manufacturing Facility in Mexico.
